Analysis from file resets the panel settings (3.9.8.1)

Analysis from file resets the panel settings (3.9.8.1)

Postby RJA4000 » Sun Aug 06, 2023 5:21 pm

Hello again
When I open a wav file for analysis, the Oscilloscope and FFT format and selected parameters are all reset.
Would there be a way to make this optional ?

I understand the Sampling has to be adapted to the file format.
But why to loose the display and FFT settings ?

FYI

In the coming new version MI V3.9.9.0, two menu items have been added:
(1) [File]>[Open with Current Panel Setting]
(2) [File]>[Import with Current Panel Setting]

In Device Test Plan, an option has been added to Instruction "LDF" to allow loading a file with the current panel setting.

In the Automation API, LoadFileWithCurrentPanelSetting() has been added.

I see that.

I'm using it and already, I can tell that the import of Band frequencies is a game changer for me !
Same for the capacity to analyze from a file without disturbing the Pannel settings !

Thanks 1000 times already
(the rest, I didn't go through it yet)
