MI-Automation via ActiveX: No new values available if GUI is

Hello,
I use ActiveX / MI-Automation Server Interface to request permanently new (RMS-) values.
But if the GUI is minimized during requesting, there are no new values available.
Only always the last value.
Bug or Feature?

The software is designed to not to calculate the relevant DDPs if the instrument window that generates the DDPs is minimized or closed, in order to save the CPU computing power.
