VT DSO-2A20E - how A and B channels are sampled?

VT DSO-2A20E - how A and B channels are sampled?

Postby lvdev » Tue Dec 04, 2018 4:10 am

Hi,
I couldn't find an explicit specification for the VT DSO-2A20E USB oscilloscope regarding the way the A and B channels are sampled.
Does it use a single ADC chip to sample A and B inputs, multiplexing the channels, or the simultaneous sampling is used via independent (and synchronized) ADC chips for A and B channel?
Thank you!

The ADCs of Channels A&B work simultaneously when "A&B" is selected in the software. The maximum real-time sampling rate under this dual-channel mode is 100MHz. If only Channel A is selected, the maximum real-time sampling rate is 200MHz. Only at 200MHz under this single-channel mode, the ADCs of Channel A&B work in an interleaved way.
