Doing audio repair and maintenance work it is very useful to have a 'levelled' speaker feed (ie agc applied so that there is always a residual noise) that allows one to hear what is going on is very useful. With old-skool N&Ds one could listen post-notch (no so easy with FFTs...) and easily hear ...

Suggest the signal generator's output setting dialogue boxes have the current units indication (V) changed to (VPK) so as to be specific.

I've a Dante audio interface (Sonifex DIO05) that has +18dBu full-scale input and output (ie FS = 6.1VRMS, or 8.63VPK, or 15.8dBV).

I'm seeing two odd problems (almost certainly PBKAC):

At full-scale output (0dBFS) the spectrum analyzer is showing the fundamental as being approx ...
